July Pattern of the Month – UPDATED!

“Thrift Store Couture, darling!” – RuPaul

This month’s challenge is going to let you be as creative as you want! You must use two pieces from your favorite thrift store. They can be any combination you want: shoes and jacket, skirt and shirt, a full suit, it is your choice.

Your challenge is to take these two items from drab to fab!

OR You can refashion something in your closet! Got something you don’t wear anymore, or something that isn’t as Fab as when you first bought it? Refashion that baby!

Requirements:
One yard of fabric must be used or you must make major alterations to the garment.

You can use paint, hand beading, smocking, whatever it is you need to do to make it as fab as you can!
