April Sew-along with Tabitha (Tutorial Posted!)

Happy Spring Everyone! For the month of April we will be led by Tabitha, owner of Cheap but Chic.

Because it is Spring, and hopefully the weather is starting to warm up (it is here in NC, it is actually a bit too warm, but I won’t complain) Tabitha has chose this beautiful gathered skirt for us to create. The theme for April is f l o r a l s.

Before I give you the rest of the information, Tabitha and the owners of Glam Fabrics have gifted you with a discount code, should you want the fabric pictured below, or any other fabric in the shop.

Discount: 15% off total purchase
Code: tabitha15

Thank you so much Tab and Glam Fabrics! We appreciate it. Pictured below is the skirt we will be making. Tab will release the video tutorial, and I will post it here. That means extra time to get your fabric! Happy Sewing and Creating everyone!

Tutorial below! Enjoy + happy creating!

How many yards did you use for this skirt? I want to know how many yards to get from Glam Fabrics. Thanks!

Hi there, Sylvia. You will need 2x your waist measurement for the skirt. Just a note, there are 36 inches in one yard. 🙂 I hope this helped.
