Hello all!

We are back at it, and we are so excited for this one. First of all, we hope you all enjoyed your summer, and a big thanks and lots of love to everyone who shared their submissions for the August 2015 Spotlight. An exciting time is approaching! A time for cooler weather, layers, rich hues, beautiful leaves and everything else that makes fall so amazing. To kick it off right, we have a Statement Coat challenge ready to go.

One last pattern option includes Vogue 9069.

We hope we have given you enough options to want to go big or go home on this one.

 

So, here are the rules:

– You must pair your wonderful coat with a boot or bootie.
– MAKE. A. STATEMENT.

You have until October 15th to get this baby done! We wanted to extend it past a month, so you can order fabric or wait for any pattern sales etc.

    May we use other coat patterns or does it have to be made from the two you listed here? I have been waiting to make Simplicity 1254 , and now seems like the perfect opportunity since it is a somewhat similar style to the patterns you listed.

    This sounds like a fun challenge! Must the coat be wool or can it be more along of the lines of a trench using poplin or cotton canvas?

    Are you going to put up pict tures of peoples coats? I emailed mine about 2 weeks ago.
