31 Aug August 2015 Spotlight: Faith
I love the “showoff” challenge for the month of August. It gave me the confidence to be proud of what I have created.
My advice is that when adding lace to certain parts of a project it is best to place the lace where you want is first, lay it down, and then look at it and make sure that it is where you want it to be. Using a seam ripper on lace is not often successful because with all the snagging and pulling you may end up ripping the lace.
This dress was made of sateen fabric. I love it gives just enough stretch to create a perfect fit. Also, I am so in love with the floral print, and the lace in the back.
I would definitely sew this dress again using different fabric choices.
